Disaster relief is a ministry of the Southern Baptist Convention and the various State Baptist Associations organized for the purpose of providing on-site services at disaster locations. Services provided include mass feeding meal preparation, chain saw clearing, emergency child care, and chaplaincy.The next Disaster Relief Training will be held April 19-20 in Virden, May 3-4 at Streator Baptist Camp,Streator, and October 11-12 at Lake Sallateeska Camp & Conference Center, Pinckneyville.
